Jazzercise announced the opening of its newest fitness center in Lawrence, inside the former Total Fitness Athletic Club at 2339 Iowa St.

The center offers 35 classes weekly, beginning at 5:45 a.m. and ending at 7:30 p.m.; some child care is available.

A grand opening celebration is scheduled for Saturday, including four free class times: 8:20 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.

Classes formerly conducted at 5150 Clinton Parkway now take place at the new center.
