¢ A 27-year-old Independence, Mo., man was arrested by a Douglas County Sheriff’s officer Friday afternoon on a warrant on a charge of aggravated indecent liberties. According to Douglas County Jail records, the man was later freed on $35,000 bond.
¢ The 19-year-old Lawrence man accused of soliciting a sexual conversation with a Johnson County Sheriff’s detective, who officers say was posing in an Internet chat room as a 14-year-old girl, is now free on $10,000 bond, according to jail records.
¢ Someone caused $1,000 in damage when they used a sharp object to scratch the driver’s side door and rear-quarter panel of a vehicle on Wednesday in the Kansas University Parking Lot No. 50, according to the KU Public Safety Office.

¢ Someone took a Dell laptop computer, its case and a battery charger, valued together at $1,200, between Monday and Thursday from a room in Fraser Hall, according to the KU Public Safety Office.
