“Features,” a benefit concert presented by University Theatre and Headmasters Salon of Lawrence, raised more than $3,000 for the Douglas County AIDS Project.

John Staniunas, artistic director of University Theatre, said students in his KU musical theater class staged two performances on April 23, built around the theme “A Day at the Salon,”

“We are so pleased to be able to donate $3,130 to DCAP as a result of the two performances,” Staniunas said. “This is in addition to the money University Theatre students, faculty and staff raised for the AIDS Walk April 15.”
