A free short demo video of a documentary on Hurricane Katrina produced by local filmmakers will be premiered tonight in Lawrence.

The two-minute video, produced by filmmakers Oliver Hall, associate producer of C.S.A, and Eric Hyde, a Kansas University student, will be shown at 9:30 tonight at the Granada in downtown Lawrence.

The video demo provides a brief glimpse of the filmmakers’ documentary, titled “Katrina: The Hurrican that Changed America.”

The unscripted documentary will be told from the perspective of those affected by the hurricane.
