Ottawa University plans Irish poetry reading

The Ottawa University English Department has invited Caitriona O’Reilly, Irish author and poet, to give a reading at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

O’Reilly is the writer-in-residence at Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art and Design in Dublin, Ireland. She earned her doctorate in literature at Dublin’s Trinity College, and has taught there and at St. Patrick’s College, also in Dublin. Her volume of poetry “The Nowhere Birds” was awarded the Rooney Prize for Irish Literature in 2001.
