Bouncer charged in student’s killing

? A bar bouncer with a long rap sheet has been charged with murder in the death of a graduate student who was savagely raped, strangled and dumped last month in a desolate area of Brooklyn, a law enforcement official said Wednesday.

An official announcement of a murder indictment against Darryl Littlejohn, 41, was expected today, the official said, speaking on condition of anonymity because the indictment was still sealed.

A call to Littlejohn’s attorney was not immediately returned.

Imette St. Guillen’s body was found Feb. 25 with a sock stuffed in her mouth and her head wrapped with packaging tape. She was last seen alive early that morning at The Falls bar, a SoHo nightspot where Littlejohn worked.

Police have said that blood found on the plastic ties used to bind St. Guillen matched Littlejohn.
