Lawrence poet’s work selected for anthology
Poet Mickey Cesar, of Lawrence, has work included in the anthology “The Other Side of Sorrow,” to be published by the Poetry Society of New Hampshire.
Editor Patricia Frisella says the idea for the book began with like-minded poets having community readings to address the war in Iraq. The strong response prompted the subsequent book project.
More than 120 contributors from across the United States will be featured, including Pulitzer Prize winner Maxine Kumin.
The 240-page book will be available in April. For more information, contact the editor at frisella@worldpath.net or by writing to 31 Reservoir Road, Farmington, N.H., 03835.
