Law enforcement report

¢ Lawrence Police arrested a Lawrence man Friday on a charge of aggravated battery after the man and his roommate reportedly fought about a woman, Sgt. Susan Hadl said.

During the altercation that became physical in the 3500 block of Ellie Lane in northwest Lawrence, one roommate “overcame” the other, Hadl said. Both of the men were treated for injuries at Lawrence Memorial Hospital and released, she said. Additional information about the incident was unavailable Friday night.

Injury accident

¢ Lawrence-Douglas County Fire & Medical workers transported one person to Lawrence Memorial Hospital after an accident at 4:40 p.m. Friday at 23rd and Alabama streets.

Capt. Doug Green said the person suffered relatively minor injuries. An accident report from Lawrence Police was unavailable.
