Underage drinking to be topic of forum
Nearly two-thirds of Kansas students grades eight through 12 have drunk alcohol in their lives, with 22 percent saying they’ve gone on a drinking binge by consuming five or more drinks in a row.
Those figures will be in the spotlight later this month as the Douglas County Community Health Improvement Project hosts a free town hall forum to discuss underage drinking.
