Correction

The play by William Shakespeare in which the character Polonius appears was misidentified in a story in Monday’s Journal-World. He is a character in “Hamlet.”

¢ The Double Take column in Tuesday’s Pulse section incorrectly stated the number of diagnosed cases of bipolar disorder in the United States. According to 2005 figures from an American Psychiatric Assn. workshop, about 3.9 percent of the population – about 11 million people – is affected by all types of bipolar disorder.

¢ A Thursday story about Haskell Indian Nations University’s search for a director for its newly formed endowment incorrectly noted that Haskell had cut its ties to its foundation, which found itself on the brink of bankruptcy after its then-director Gerry Burd was charged with stealing more than $100,000 from its accounts.

Haskell Foundation continues to administer grants and accept donations on the university’s behalf. Most of its debts have been paid, forgiven or dismissed because of statutes of limitation.
