Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ A riding lawn mower and a flatbed trailer were taken sometime overnight Saturday from Deems Farm Equipment, 1110 E. 23rd St. A fence to the property was damaged. Lawrence Police are investigating. Total damage and losses were $4,700.

¢ A 37-year-old Lawrence man reported to police that someone took his 2004 Dodge Ram from the 2900 block of West Sixth Street sometime overnight Saturday. A set of golf clubs and a camera phone also were in the truck. Total losses were listed at $15,380.

¢ A 1999 Ford Ranger was vandalized late Friday night or Saturday morning while it was parked in the 2500 block of Iowa Street. A 19-year-old Lawrence woman told police the truck sustained damage along the entire driver’s side and on the passenger side door. Damage was listed at $1,500.

¢ A 32-year-old Lawrence woman told police someone broke into her home in the 2300 block of West Sixth Street and took digital cameras and related equipment along with a DVD player and a Nintendo game. The burglary occurred sometime during the early morning hours of Sunday. Losses were listed at $1,320.

¢ Someone broke into Presto Phillips 66, 602 W. Ninth St., sometime during the early morning hours Friday. According to a Lawrence Police report a glass door was damaged and a small tool bag was taken. Losses and damage amounted to about $300.

¢ A 21-year-old Lawrence man told police two men confronted him outside a restaurant in the 3100 block of Nieder Road about 2:25 a.m. Saturday. One of the men took the victim’s wallet from him and the two fled. The victim told police he was sitting in a car when the men approached him. Losses were listed at $181.
