Kenner, L.A. ? Police say Ronnie Webber was acting out a rap song, and when the song said shoot, he did.

Webber’s shot killed 23-year-old Johnathan Beasley, police spokesman Capt. James Gallagher said.

Webber, 27, had been playing with Beasley’s gun while rapping along, police said. He thought it was unloaded but didn’t check before firing.

Police booked Webber for negligent homicide.
