City, KU looking for input on transit issues

The Lawrence Transit System and Kansas University leaders want to hear about the public transit needs of students and area residents.

The two agencies will host a public forum at 6 p.m. Monday at City Hall, Sixth and Massachusetts streets. The meeting is the first in a series as part of a study that will look for ways for KU on Wheels and the city-operated T to better coordinate services or possibly merge.
