Mayor Mike Amyx is asking members of the public to limit their public comments on two items that the commission is scheduled to hear tonight.

Amyx on Monday said he planned to keep the discussion related to an action plan for the Lawrence Community Shelter limited to 30 minutes.

He also said he planned to keep the discussion related to a site plan for a proposed Salvation Army facility in East Lawrence limited to one hour.

Amyx asked members of the public to coordinate their efforts so that the time limits can be observed.
