Therapists attend education programs
Two employees of Lawrence Therapy Services participated in recent continuing-education programs.
Jennifer Woerner, occupational therapist, attended a Kansas Occupational Therapy Assn. conference in March in Lawrence. She took part in two courses: “Vision Rehabilitation for Low Vision and Neuro-Visual Deficit Patients” and “Cognitive Rehabilitation.”
Evonne Cooper, physical therapist, attended a continuing-education workshop, “The Shoulder Complex – Evaluation and Treatment” at North Kansas City Hospital. The course focused on evaluating and treating shoulder conditions such as adhesive capsulitis, arthritis, tendonitis, rotator cuff dysfunction, and shoulder impingement syndrome.
