KDHE seeks public comment on issues

Kansas Department of Health and Environment leaders begin their statewide listening tour at 6 p.m. today in Dodge City.

KDHE Secretary Rod Bremby and the KDHE Management Team plan to discuss health and environment issues. Other topics include the 2006 legislative session, the status of the KDHE budget, and funding priorities and agency initiatives, including pandemic influenza, water quality and the Health Kansas initiative.

The final tour stop will be at 6 p.m. Aug. 22 at KDHE’s Northeast District Office, 800 W. 24th St. in Lawrence.

Bremby and the management team will also make stops in Hays, Salina, Wichita, Chanute and Frontenac.
