Law enforcement report

¢ Lawrence police referred a Lawrence man to the District Attorney’s Office for possible aggravated assault charges after he rammed his truck into a van several times in a “road rage” incident Sunday.

Police Sgt. Michael Monroe said that the suspect, 41, believed another Lawrence man in a white van cut him off while driving on Ninth Street. He then chased the man in a red Chevy Blazer, ramming the victim’s van twice before ending the chase at 15th and Iowa streets.

No arrests were made, but Monroe said that he filed a report with the DA’s office.

Accident report

¢ An Oak Grove, Mo., woman was injured and taken to Lawrence Memorial Hospital Sunday when her Isuzu sport utility vehicle hit a barrier wall on Interstate 70 just past the Lecompton exit.

According to a Kansas Turnpike Authority report, Bridget Sue Brunner, 42, lost control of the SUV, striking the wall and flipping the vehicle onto its side.

A Leavenworth County Ambulance took her to LMH with non-life threatening injuries. She was wearing her seatbelt, the report said.
