Author cancels speech at library
Ken “Bear Hawk” Cohen, author of the critically acclaimed “Honoring the Medicine: The Essential Guide to Native American Healing,” has canceled his appearance set for 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Lawrence Public Library auditorium.
Cohen is a student of indigenous medicine, a health educator and traditional healer who works with the blessings of tribal elders.
