Injury accident

¢ A Basehor woman and a Kansas City, Mo., woman were injured in a four-vehicle accident Thursday morning on Kansas Highway 7 in Wyandotte County.

According to a report from the Kansas Highway Patrol, three vehicles were headed south and stopped in traffic at 6:41 a.m. near Riverview Road. A 2004 Ford Explorer then struck and knocked forward a 2004 Oldsmobile Bravada. Two other vehicles were then struck in a chain reaction.

The driver of the Bravada, Karla Jones, 37, Kansas City, Mo., was taken to the University of Kansas Hospital in Kansas City, Kan., with injuries. Anna Unruh, 27, Basehor, drove a third vehicle. She was taken to Shawnee Mission Medical Center with injuries.

Condition updates were unavailable.

The other two drivers were not injured. All four people involved wore seat belts, according to the accident report.
