Ken “Bear Hawk” Cohen, author of the critically acclaimed “Honoring the Medicine: The Essential Guide to Native American Healing,” will share his philosophy in a talk at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Lawrence Public Library auditorium, 707 Vt.

Cohen is a student of indigenous medicine, a health educator and traditional healer who works with the blessings of tribal elders.

The free program is open to the public. Event co-sponsor the Raven Bookstore will make copies of Cohen’s book available for purchase.
