Meeting will discuss sewer treatment plans
Members of the public on Monday will have a chance to learn more about the city’s plans to build a $75 million sewage treatment plant along the Wakarusa River.
City officials will meet with the public at 7 p.m. Monday at South Junior High School, 2734 La. The public will have a chance to hear presentations on the project and to offer comments on the city’s plans.
The city is in the process of finding a site for the new treatment plant.
