Law enforcement report

A 23-year-old Lawrence man, Patrick U’Neek Walker, has been charged with a July 16 armed robbery in the 500 block of Graystone Drive. A 42-year-old Lawrence woman told police an acquaintance she knows only by a nickname came to her door about 12:45 a.m. that day and said he was looking for a mutual friend. She opened the door, and another man – police allege it was Walker – appeared in the doorway holding a small silver revolver, demanded her money, took $100 cash that was on a table and ran out.

Walker was arrested on a warrant this week for aggravated robbery and aggravated burglary and booked into the Douglas County Jail.
