Law enforcement report

¢ A suspect was arrested Saturday in Overbrook after a man he allegedly assaulted had to be flown by helicopter to a hospital with injuries.

The incident happened about 6:30 p.m. at 207 Oak in Overbrook When police arrived, the victim was found unresponsive.

According to Overbrook Police, the suspect was arrested for aggravated battery after the incident. The victim, whose identity police would not release, was flown to Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka.

Osage County Sheriff’s officers also responded to the incident.

Injury accidents

¢ A Lawrence woman was transported to the hospital Sunday after her car flipped on Kansas Highway 10.

According to a Kansas Highway Patrol report, 23-year-old Heather Pilshaw flipped her Mazda Tribute after swerving to avoid a car changing lanes on the highway about seven miles east of Lawrence. She then struck a ditch and flipped her car once.

No one in the other car was injured.
