Kansas University’s School of Fine Arts has announced its fall schedule of events at the Art and Design Gallery:

Aug. 27 Sept. 8: Foundations Studies Scholarship Exhibition

Sept. 4: Gallery closed for Labor Day

Sept. 10-Sept. 22: Barri Lester, recent work-shaped paintings on plywood created site-specific Sept. 24-Oct. 6: Design Faculty Exhibition, reception to be announced

Oct. 9-Oct. 27: Post Millennium Exponent-group exhibit of ceramics by LSU grad students from 2000-2007

Oct. 12-Oct. 15: Gallery closed for fall break

Oct. 29-Nov. 17: “The Last Supper,” work by KU alumna Julie Green, visiting artist lecture and reception

Nov. 19-Nov. 26: Gallery closed for Thanksgiving break

Nov. 30: Annual ceramics event

Dec. 3-Dec. 8: Fluid Art 2006, annual performance art class exhibit.

Gallery hours are 1 p.m.-4:30 p.m. Sunday, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, 8:30 a.m.-9 p.m. Thursday and 8:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Fridays.
