Law enforcement report

¢ Police are investigating a report that a woman impersonating a doctor’s employee repeatedly called fraudulent prescriptions for a mood-elevating drug into local pharmacies between November and last week. The woman is suspected of filling a prescription four separate times at Dillons, 1740 Mass., and possibly at other pharmacies around Lawrence.

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ A Kansas City, Kan., man reported his 1990 Chevrolet Blazer valued at $1,500 stolen between April 12 and Sunday from the 1600 block of Lindenwood Lane.

¢ A 63-year-old employee of Comprehensive Health of Planned Parenthood reported that his prescription pad was stolen in January from the agency’s office at 2108 W. 27th St. The pad apparently was used to forge prescriptions at local businesses between March and April.
