Portion of Clinton open to traffic again
Clinton Parkway west of Wakarusa Drive is once again open to traffic.
Construction crews completed work on a roundabout at Lake Point Drive on Tuesday, city officials announced. The major east-west street had been closed between Wakarusa Drive and the South Lawrence Trafficway since mid-June.
City officials required the installation of the roundabout to serve a new commercial and residential development along Lake Point Drive.
The entire $421,000 cost of the roundabout was paid for by developers in the area.
