Four Kansas University students will appear in the Lyric Opera of Kansas City’s production of Georges Bizmet’s “Carmen.”

David Lara, Joo-Hee Park, Diane Kalinowski and Jonathan Thomas have been cast in the show, which will premiere at 8 p.m. today at the opera house, 1029 Central St., Kansas City, Mo. Future performances are at 7:30 p.m. Monday and Wednesday, 8 p.m. Friday and 2 p.m. Sept. 25.
