The Lawrence Public Library is offering a free, four-session book discussion group on childhood literary classics.

Participants will discuss “Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry,” by Mildred Taylor; “Wind in the Willows,” by Kenneth Grahame; “The Jungle Book,” by Rudyard Kipling; and “Charlotte’s Web,” by E.B. White.

The sessions will be at 7 p.m. Oct. 5, Oct. 19, Nov. 2 and Nov. 16 at the library auditorium, 707 Vt.
