“Explore the Writer Within You,” a workshop covering fiction, nonfiction and poetry, will run weekly from Sept. 22 to Nov. 10 in Mission.

Classes will meet from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Thursdays at 6000 Lamar, and the fee is $50. The registration deadline is Sept. 19.

Instructors have published seven books and more than 70 articles, short stories and nonfiction. They also teach writing classes at Johnson County Community College and Mid-Continent Public Libraries in Kansas City.
