New York ? Gabe Kaplan’s character on “Welcome Back, Kotter,” has been named the Most Memorable Teacher on Television by Inside TV magazine.

The magazine recognizes Gabe Kotter, the high school teacher from the 1970s sitcom that also starred John Travolta, in its new issue.
