DST Systems calling for more employees
DST Systems Inc., which owns and operates a center for processing financial accounts in Lawrence, is shopping around for additional employees.
The Kansas City, Mo.-based company is seeking full- and part-time employees to work at its Lawrence operations center, 2000 Bluffs Drive. The center started the year with 146 full-time employees and seven part-timers, according to a report filed by the company at Lawrence City Hall.
DST officials declined to comment on its recent recruiting efforts, citing a federal-mandated “quiet period” that has been imposed leading up to the company’s upcoming earnings report Tuesday.
The Lawrence center handles accounts on behalf of State Farm and Boston Financial Data Services, a DST subsidiary that is co-owned by State Street Corp. The Lawrence center also assists callers seeking information about the LillyAnswers patient assistance program, which provides assistance for Medicare-enrolled seniors and Medicare-enrolled people with disabilities.
