KU to feature award-winning soloist

Kansas University’s School of Fine Arts has announced a performance by horn player Andrew Pelletier, a Grammy award-winning soloist and chamber musician.

He will perform at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 20 at Swarthout Recital Hall. The event is free and open to the public.

Pelletier is currently an assistant professor of horn at Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio, and performs with the Toledo and Ann Arbor symphonies. Pelletier also is a member of Southwest Chamber Music, and he won the 2005 Grammy award for Best Classical Recording for a Small Ensemble performing with this group. He is a former member of the Santa Barbara Symphony.
