¢ A brief in Tuesday's Pulse section gave the incorrect date for an event at the Hall Center for the Humanities. "Conflict and Creativity: China: Dancing on the Wall," will be at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 18 in the center's conference hall. Lecturers will include Megan Greene, Kansas University history department; and John Kennedy, KU political science department; and Joan Stone, KU music and dance department.

¢ A story in Tuesday's Pulse section implied that Tibetan monk Palden Gyatso would be in Lawrence next week. He's actually here beginning this week for four events. His first appearance is a lecture and book signing from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. today at Alderson Auditorium in the Kansas Union.
