¢ Two De Soto teens suffered injuries Wednesday in a one-vehicle rollover wreck on 95th Street west of Kill Creek Road.

Ashley Durkin, 16, De Soto, was driving a minivan about 6:41 p.m. when it rolled onto its side. She suffered a broken leg, and a passenger, Audrey Mason, 14, De Soto, suffered minor head injuries, said Lt. Calvin Hayden, of the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office. The cause remains under investigation.

¢ A Ypsilanti, Mich., man was injured Thursday morning in a two-vehicle accident on U.S. Highway 24 east of Perry.

Roger C. Koon was driving a 1977 Cobra motor home eastbound on U.S. 24. He attempted to make a left turn while a 2002 Peterbilt dump truck, driven by Barry W. Morasch, 24, Edwardsville, tried to pass, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol. The truck struck the motor home.

Koon was taken to Stormont-Vail Regional Health Center in Topeka. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to police reports. A condition report Thursday was unavailable.

The KHP’s report said Morasch had a possible injury, but didn’t indicate he was transported.

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ Someone stole more than $11,000 in items, including jewelry, electronics and clothing, between Sept. 29 and Sept. 30 from a home in the 1500 block of East 400 Road. The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is investigating and asks anyone with information to call 843-TIPS.
