Ten Kansas University football players were recognized for academic achievement, being named to the Academic All-Big 12 teams.

Jeff Foster, Kevin Kane, Jonathan Lamb and Matt Thompson were first-team selections, while Jon Cornish, Zack Hood, John Larson, Sadiq Muhammed, Brian Seymour and Adam Barmann were second-team selections.

Players earn first team by maintaining a grade-point average of 3.20 or higher. Second-team honors are for those with a GPA between 3.00 and 3.19.
