Jury consultant sues Martha Stewart

? Looks like it’s back to the courthouse for Martha Stewart.

The domestic diva is accused of falling behind on her bills, according to a lawsuit filed in Manhattan Supreme Court. Jury consultant Julie Blackman claims in court papers that Stewart still owes her $74,047 but has ignored the bill – dated Feb. 10, 2004 – despite repeated requests for payment.

Stewart was convicted of lying about a stock sale in March 2004, and recently finished serving a five-month stint in prison followed by six months of home confinement.

“We are only suing for what she hasn’t been paid,” said Blackman’s attorney, Michael Dowd.

The papers claim Blackman was hired to provide “trial and jury consulting services to (Stewart), including but not limited to telephone surveys, focus groups, design of a jury questionnaire and jury selection consultation.”
