Injury Accident
¢ A Lawrence woman was not injured in a two-car accident Friday morning on Kansas Highway 7 near Bonner Springs.
At 11:11 a.m., Christine Traner, 24, Lawrence, failed to yield her 2001 Ford car at the intersection of K-7 and 47th Street and struck a southbound 2006 Ford car, according to a report from the Kansas Highway Patrol.
The driver of the 2006 car, Robert Barnard, 37, Fort Leavenworth, then lost control of his vehicle. It overturned, the KHP’s report said.
Barnard and his three passengers, Laura Barnard, 32, Garrett Barnard, 2, and Damona Barnard, 12, all of Fort Leavenworth, were injured and transported to Overland Park Regional Medical Center.
All four were treated and later released, said Jean Hallinan, a hospital spokeswoman.
Burglaries and thefts reported
¢ A 47-year-old Wichita woman reported her 1994 Honda Accord valued at $2,000 stolen between midnight and 2 a.m. Thursday in the 1600 block of Vermont Street.
¢ Employees of Burger King, 1107 W. Sixth St., are being interviewed after $1,007 was stolen from a safe between 5:30 p.m. Oct. 28 and 5:30 a.m. Oct. 29.
