“Last Seen,” a new play written by Penny Weiner and directed by Sharon Sullivan, both Lawrence residents, will have its premiere Friday at Washburn University.

The play opens with a middle-aged couple, Walter and Isabel, settled for the evening in front of their TV. Isabel tries to tell Walter about her suspicions that she is disappearing. This is just the beginning of Isabel’s harrowing journey toward “visibility.”

The show opens at 8 p.m. in the University Theatre in Garvey Hall. There are additional 8 p.m. performances on Nov. 12 and Nov. 18-19. There also is a 2 p.m. performance Nov. 20.

Tickets are $5 for the public and free for Washburn students with valid I.D.
