Musical performance rescheduled at Lied

“Barrage in Vagabond Tales,” a violin extravaganza that follows the story of two young friends torn apart by the separation of their tribe of wandering musicians, will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the Lied Center.

When Luna, from the new moon people, and Sol, from the people who lived beneath the sun, are finally brought back together, it is only to compete against each other for the title of leader of the tribe through an entertaining series of musical challenges.

Due to changes in the tour schedule, “Barrage” will not perform on the originally planned date, which was today. Previously purchased tickets will be honored at Monday’s performance. For more ticket information, contact the Lied Center ticket office at 864-2787.

Formed in 1996, Barrage features an international, multi-talented cast performing an eclectic mix of music, song and dance in a performance that has been described as “STOMP meets Riverdance.”
