The entry-level wage for plumbers and pipefitters was incorrect in a story in Thursday’s Journal-World. Apprentices start at $13 an hour, half the starting wage for a journeyman pipefitter, said Dwayne Peaslee, training coordinator for the local plumbers and pipefitters union.

• City of Eudora firefighters are shown battling a house fire in Eudora in a photo published in Sunday’s Journal-World. The wrong fire department was named in the photo caption.
• A brief in Sunday’s Pulse section incorrectly identified the author of “Dangerous Depths.” Kathy Brandt is the author. She signed copies of her book Monday at The Raven Bookstore.
