Law enforcement report

Accidents

  • Three people were hurt in a one-car accident about 10:30 p.m. Saturday on Kansas Highway 68 in Franklin County near the Osage County line.

All three of the victims were taken to Stormont-Vail Regional Health Center in Topeka, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol. The Patrol identified the victims as the driver, Rachel J. Angel, 19, Topeka, and passengers Jamie B. Barnes, 20, Topeka, and Eric L. Gomez, 26, Ottawa. Their conditions weren’t available Sunday night.

The Highway Patrol report stated that the victims were in a 2003 Hyundai that was eastbound on K-68 when it left the highway, went into the ditch and became airborne. It came to a stop on its side.
