Lawrence Police said Wednesday that in the past 24 hours they handled:
- 245 calls
- 36 reports
- one burglary
- two thefts
- five noninjury accidents
- one injury accident
Burglaries and thefts reported
- A 24-year-old Lawrence woman reported a $300 television, a remote control and $825 in other items stolen between 10:50 p.m. Saturday and 1:30 a.m. Sunday from her home in the 300 block of Lyon Street.
- A Eudora woman reported $1,767 in earrings stolen between April 16 and April 25 from her home in the 1800 section of North 900 Road in Eudora.
