Some silver metallic balloons got wrapped up in a power line Sunday night, causing a power outage for about 750 electrical users, a Westar Energy spokesman said.

The power went out about 6 p.m. but was restored at 7:45 p.m., Westar spokesman Mark Schreiber said.

The balloons caused a fuse to blow in a transformer switch at 25th and Iowa streets, he said.
