Law enforcement report

¢ A 24-year-old Lawrence man was injured during a disturbance Friday night when he was struck with what police said was possibly a small baseball bat. The incident occurred about 10:20 p.m. at a birthday party and barbecue in the 1600 block of West Sixth Terrace, a police report said. A 21-year-old Lawrence man was later arrested by police. A second man also was being sought.

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ A 73-year-old woman reported to Lawrence Police that someone took more than $30,000 worth of jewelry and a watch from her home in the 4300 block of Wimbledon Drive. The items may have been taken sometime between May 21 and Thursday.

¢ A 1993 Yamaha motorcycle valued at $2,000 was taken from the 1200 block of Tennessee sometime Wednesday or Thursday, according to a Lawrence Police report. A report was filed by a 23-year-old Lawrence man.
