Success By 6 seeks volunteer help to pack and move supplies and furniture as they expand offices. Volunteers are needed between this Tuesday and Friday for one hour or more. Volunteers must be in a physical condition that allows bending and lifting to carry boxes and furniture. Immediate volunteer needs

¢ ECKAN seeks a volunteer to assist with clerical duties, including answering telephones and basic office responsibilities. ECKAN works to help families move from welfare assistance to be self-sufficient through programs that alleviate the effects of poverty. For more information, call Jeanette Collier, 841-3357.

¢ The Safe Winter Walkways Program seeks volunteers to shovel snow on behalf of elderly and disabled community members. The program serves people who are unable to shovel their sidewalks by matching them with a volunteer who agrees to shovel after each significant snowfall this winter. The goal of the program is to match volunteers who live close to residents needing help. Matches are currently being made, but more volunteers are needed. ¢ Douglas County Senior Meals needs several drivers to deliver meals to Douglas County senior citizens who are homebound. Meal delivery takes place Monday through Friday, and volunteers are asked to commit to one delivery route each week, which generally takes one hour or less.
