Towing bill paid; family to regain Christmas gifts

The towing bill has been paid for a struggling family featured in an article in today’s Journal-World (See story).

Keith Jones says there’s been an outpouring of support for him and his family so far this morning. One person even gave him $300, which he plans to put toward a new car.

“People have just been calling and calling,” he said.

Jones’ pregnant wife, Bonnie, was unable to get her jacket and Christmas gifts out of the family’s wrecked car when it was taken to a local towing lot after an accident earlier this week that wasn’t their fault. The Joneses said the company told them they couldn’t retrieve the items until the $215 bill was paid.
