Kate Moss land commercial poking fun at her image

? Kate Moss has landed a commercial for phone operator Virgin Mobile, three months after a cocaine scandal threatened her modeling career.

The ad will debut online Dec. 20 and begin airing on television in the United Kingdom on Christmas Eve. It features Moss poking fun at her own public image and a rare speaking role for the model.

“Kate Moss is an icon,” said James Kydd, brand director of Virgin Mobile. “We are thrilled that she has agreed to appear in our latest commercial. In return, the least we can do is make it really funny.”

Moss checked into an Arizona rehab clinic in September after a London tabloid newspaper published pictures that allegedly showed her taking cocaine. She lost contracts with Burberry, Chanel and H&M.

Since then, Moss has picked up new contracts and is on the December cover of French Vogue magazine.
