Members of the Tonganoxie High School Chieftain Singers recently performed at the American Business Women’s Assn. holiday gathering at the American Legion.

The Chieftain Singers, under the direction of Joyce Steeby, entertained guests with holiday songs and selections from the upcoming Fourth Annual Madrigal Feaste.

The concert will be presented Dec. 15-16 at the Tonganoxie Christian Church Family Life Center, 204 Washington, Tonganoxie. Tickets are available by reservation only, $15 in advance, by calling (913) 845-2654.

The THS Chieftain Singers also will be traveling to New York City in March 2006. While there, they plan to compete in a national music festival and perform in several locations in the city, including the Statue of Liberty and ground zero.
