A spirited holiday event awaits music lovers at “Twas the Night Before the Night Before,” a benefit concert performed by Lawrence flautist John Boulton and Friends. Proceeds from the performance will bolster the Lawrence Chamber Orchestra’s current season funding.

The recital will be at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 23 at the Lawrence Arts Center. Works performed include light classical to exciting jazz variations by Franz Joseph Haydn, Carl Maria von Weber and Claude Bollingó.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students and children. Tickets are available in advance and at the show at the arts center, 940 N.H.
