Haskell Indian Nations University officials decided Monday to postpone today's fall convocation.
"We are anticipating extreme temperatures and, at this time, the air-conditioning in the auditorium isn't working," said Lori Tapahonso, a spokeswoman for the university.
Convocation had been scheduled for 4 p.m. today. It's now set for 4 p.m. Sept. 13 at the auditorium. The featured speaker will be Haskell alumna and biology instructor Carole Tomlinson.
